Leckmelm Holiday Cottages Testimonials
Return Visit
We managed to get some mountains ticked off, do some mountain biking, or just a walk along the Loch to Rhue.
Saw some otters there, but the highlight of the week was a Sea Eagle just outside our window one morning!
Once again, thanks for all your help.
Best wishes,
Maldwyn Roberts

I love it there - particularly the walk out and up at the back of the house, with the wonderful view of An Teallach as you walk along at the top. And the neighbour's bird table was an added bonus this time. Unfortunately we didn't see the red squirrels that she said come along occasionally. Maybe another time!
Just to say a huge thank you to you for another lovely holiday spent at No 1 Lochside,we really didn`t want to leave on Saturday morning.
We set off with heavy hearts at 7.15 am and arrived home at 6.15 pm after a pretty good journey ( 607mls )
Just a quick line to thank you for a lovely week at Leckmelm House. Lovely house and I can't think of a better spot. The track out up the hill certainly lets us know we live in flat Lincolnshire! Lottie, our border, has actually gone home with sore paws from the walking we managed. Due to our daughters wedding we never made it to Scotland this summer but we did manage a week in Skye in March and the weather was amazing then as well.
You live in paradise although I'm sure you don't have enough time to enjoy it!
The lack of light pollution really assists at night for fantastic star gazing at Leckmelm House.
VERY good value for money.....
Second visit....
One of the best holidays I've ever had.....
What a gem this little cottage is. So cosy warm and clean with everything you could want for a weeks stay. Each sunset is a gift, the views from the windows are constantly changing.
A stunning spot in the hills with beautiful views through the woods and along the loch. The house itself was spacious and warm and so welcoming we didn't want to leave!
I would happily recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Peaceful, relaxing place in the Highlands. The place is ideal for a relaxing holiday with friends or family, away from the stress of the city.
