Lochside Cottages
There are 3 Lochside Cottages which are situated on the edge of Loch Broom adjacent to Leckmelm Farm. The cottages were completely rebuilt in 2004 to provide the ultimate comfort from which you can enjoy armchair nature watching over the elemental waters of Loch Broom. Otters, porpoises, seals, dolphins, sheep and pigs are regularly spotted by visitors.
The 3 self catering cottages are terraced with private, secluded entrances, an access ramp for those with limited mobility and are on a single storey. Underfloor heating, wooden hardwood floor throughout and locally produced artwork of the farm adorns the walls. Each cottage has excellent views over the Loch, probably the best views in the area.
The cottages are equipped to a three star standard throughout including a washer/dryer, sofas, armchairs, TV, FREE WiFI and books to read. Outdoor garden furniture for eating in the summer months as well as carved log seats from trees on the farm. Ideal for group bookings of up to 14 or as individual cottages.
Lochside 1 - Self Catering Cottage - Sleeps 4
Living Room: The open plan kitchen/diner and living room has a twin aspect view and takes in the best of the views and the sun, particularly at sunset. Kitchen is fully equipped with a compact dishwasher, electric oven, fridge and fitted units. The sitting area has 2 sofas, coffee table and an open fire place. A dining table that seats 4.
Bedrooms: A double room looks over the fields towards Ullapool, a twin room adjacent.
Bathroom: A fully tiled bathroom with power shower over bath and WC. Underfloor heating in addition to a heated towel rail.
Lochside 2 - Self Catering Cottage - Sleeps 6
Living Room: The open plan kitchen/diner and living room looks over Loch Broom towards Loggie, and is a great place to spot seals, seabirds and the occasional porpoise. Kitchen is fully equipped with a family size dishwasher, electric oven, fridge and fitted units. The sitting area has 2 sofas and 2 armchairs, coffee table and an open fire place. A dining table that seats 6.
Bedrooms: An ensuite double room looks over the Loch, two twin rooms adjacent, the house sleeps 6 in total.
Bathrooms: A fully tiled bathroom with power shower over bath and WC. The ensuite bathroom has a walk in shower and WC. Underfloor heating in addition to a heated towel rail.
Lochside 3 - Self Catering Cottage - Sleeps 4

The sea shore walks from the door of your cottage are enjoyed by dogs and humans alike and can take you directly to Leckmelm Gardens. Especially suitable for children who like to beachcomb and visit the farm yard animals. If you have your own boat or canoe it is possible to launch it from the Seventeenth Century pier at Leckmelm Bay.
If you are looking for somewhere to get away from it all and a place to enjoy the elemental landscape of the hills winter or summer these are the cottages for you. The only sounds you will hear are those of the waves lapping at the shore.
