Many varied happenings in this west coast village.  All year round you can get the craic in the bars with the Ceilidh Place, Argyll and Ferry Boat Inn for Music and Food, the Arch and Frigate well known for Food and Music.

There's a local deli, bakery, butchers, fish merchant and seafood van in season.  There's a supermarket, doctors surgery and two schools.  Three bookshops and a book festival each year.

Art galleries, craft shops, newsagents and gifts. A filling station and an electric charge point at the ferry....

Oh....and a Ferry - did I mention you can get a ferry to the Outer Hebrides and in the summer you can do day trips to Stornoway.  Closer boat trips to the summer Isles too.
